Spencerville Adventist Academy Invites You to Our First Annual
Black History Month Festival
Sunday, February 25 at 2 p.m.
SAA Auditorium
 
This event will include
 
  • an African American art exhibition
  • student performed spoken word
  • musical presentations
  • a drama performance, and
  • a flag pageant
  • light fare reception

The special keynote speaker will be Wade Henderson, former head of the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, a position he held for 20 years. Under his visionary leadership, the coalition grew from 180 to more than 200 member organizations. His prior positions include bureau chief of the NAACP and associate director of the ACLU. There will be a light fare reception in the SAA multi-purpose room following the program. Please join us for this very special event as we celebrate Black History Month!
